Annalie Rykaart: Family woman, real estate veteran and retirement village specialist

Hi! I'm a property practitioner for the CSi Property Group, specialising in retirement villages in Montana Gardens.

What makes you stand out in the real estate industry?

I started in 2004 as a rookie real estate agent, selling basic homes in underprivileged communities. This was an extremely eye-opening experience and it shaped my perspective on both life and real estate. I discovered the deeply human side of this industry – the hopes, dreams and emotions that attach people to their homes changed me in ways I never expected.

Tell us about the area you specialise in and what you love about it.

I specialise in two retirement villages in Montana Gardens: Bougainvillea Retirement Village and Twee Riviere Retirement Village. With great weather and superior security, the area is naturally a fantastic destination for retirement. There’s also a wide array of facilities close to these retirement villages – from shops and highways to hospitals and doctors.

What are your secrets for helping people buy, sell or rent property?

I completely understand how difficult and stressful buying, selling or renting a new home can be. My secret lies in creating a calm environment for my clients. I take the time to listen to their concerns and challenges without rushing. I give practical advice so that they feel completely confident in every decision. My goal is to make every real estate journey as smooth as possible so that my clients can focus on the next exciting step in their lives.

What advice would you give somebody looking to buy or rent a property in the area that you specialise in?

Montana Gardens is a perfect area for retirement! Everything is close by and a variety of shops (including Woolworths, Dis-Chem, Food Lovers Market and many others) are within a short distance of home. There are also convenient pharmacies and fuel stations – and you’re very close to the N1.

1. Outside of work, she’s all about family. She is blessed to have children and a grandchild.
